Kadima Krav Maga is a self defense school associated with Israeli Krav International (IKI).
Krav Maga translates from Hebrew as “Close Combat or Contact”. It is a self defense system developed in Israel to train the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). It is not a traditional Martial Art or a Combat Sport but a comprehensive Self-Defense system utilizing several aspects of assorted Martial Art systems. It is rooted in the tradition of the IDF mission of countering threats to Israel daily.
In order to meet the threat you must move towards the threat.
In order for this to happen efficiently you must move forward, towards the danger.
Kadima mean “Forward!” in Hebrew.
